The UAE Embassy in New Delhi is accredited to Nepal.

Nepal and the UAE have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Establishing a Joint Committee for Cooperation between the Government of Nepal and the Government of the United Arab Emirates on 23 June 2010. The MOU was signed during a five-day official visit of the Hon. Ms. Sujata Koirala, the then Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs of Nepal, with a view to further strengthening the existing friendly ties between the two countries as well as to building on and promoting the bilateral relations in various fields such as judicial, education, training, information, cultural, sports and environmental fields for meeting the common objectives of the two friendly countries. As per the provisions in the MOU, the annual meetings of the Committee will be chaired by the Foreign Ministers of the two countries or their representatives alternately in the capitals of the two countries. It is believed that such a permanent mechanism could serve as a good basis for furthering our bilateral relations leading to the possibility of more co-operations between the two countries.

A Memorandum of Understanding in the field of Manpower was signed between the Government of Nepal and the Government of the UAE on the 3^rd of July 2007. As of February, 2011, there were 1,44,736 Nepalese nationals employed in various sectors in the UAE. In the same year, a Memorandum of Understanding on Air Services was also signed.
