If you are planning to recruit Nepalese nationals in groups, please be advised to go through the following list of requirements in order to prepare your documents. It is strongly recommended to put these documents in the order given so as to expedite the process:
- Demand Letter (with full information on number and gender of workers, basic salary, working hours and days, food, accommodation, transportation, medical insurance, workmen's compensation insurance (compensation for injury and death), joining and return ticket, cost of visa and other benefits) – 2 copies (one original and one photocopy)
- Power of Attorney (authorizing a Nepalese Manpower Agency to recruit and supply workers by the company based in the United Arab Emirates. The Power of Attorney must have license numbers of both the Nepalese and UAE companies) --- 2 copies (one original and one photocopy)
- Two-Party Agreement (agreement between Nepalese Manpower Agency and Company or Agency in the UAE) --- 2 copies (one original and one photocopy)
- Guarantee Letter (an undertaking conforming that the worker(s)will not be asked to work in the company other than the specified one and will not be sent out of the UAE if the company is multinational and also the assurances of safety and security of female workers. – 2 copies (one original and one photocopy)
- Sample of Employment Contract between the employer in the UAE and Nepalese worker(s) – 2 copies for each job type, category or position. However, companies can prepare only one Sample Employment Contract for several job type, category or position if all categories of workers get the equal salary and other benefits. In such a case, companies may indicate more than one job title in one Sample Employment Contract (for example Waiter/Bartender/ Cook/Commis, etc.)
Sample employment Contract must contains basic salary and information about other benefits such as food, accommodation, medical insurance, workmen's compensation insurance, working days and hours, transportation, etc.
- Company's Trade License– 1 copy.
- Copy of Company's Profile – 1 copy
- A copy/proof of Labour Authorization (If the number of labours required is above 50, then a copy or evidence of labour approval issued by the Ministry of Labour of the UAE needs to be submitted. However, if the number does not exceed 50, no such approval is required. Similarly, no labour approval is required for the UAE Government companies or companies operating under the Free Zone Authority regardless of the number of the workers required) -- 1 copy
- A copy of the License issued to the Nepalese Manpower Agency concerned by the Department of Foreign Employment, Government of Nepal --1 copy

Minimum Basic Salary
Please note that the Government of Nepal has fixed the minimum basic salary and allowance for food and accommodation for various job categories as mentioned below:

Drivers
The minimum salary for light vehicle driver and heavy vehicle drivers have been set at Dh. 1,500.00 and Dh. 2,200.00 respectively in addition to food and accommodation.
The above salary and allowances are in addition to the allowance for transportation and other benefits as per the UAE Labour Law. Employers are required to provide food and accommodation or pay the minimum amount as stated above.
However, if the minimum basic salary includes the allowance for food or accommodation or both the employers are not obliged to pay additional allowance for these entitlements.
Domestic Employee
The minimum salary for domestic workers has been fixed at Dh. 900.00
Notes:
- Please note that the Demand Letter, Power of Attorney anda Two-Party Agreement need to be attested by the respective Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The UAE Government entities are exempt from the requirement of Chamber attestation. Companies that are operating under Free Zone need to get those documents attested either by the Chamber concerned or by designated Free Zone Authority.
- Upon completion of the above requirements, the Embassy will attest the Demand letter, Power of Attorney, Two-Party Agreement and Sample Employment Contract/s on payment of AED 150.00 for each document (total attestation charges depend upon the number of Sample Employment Contract (minimum AED 600.00).
- Security Guards should be recruited as per Article 34 of the "Directive to all Security Companies in the UAE to implement Ministerial Decision No. 557 of 2008 for the Executive Order of the Federal Law Number 37 of 2006" issued by the Government of the UAE.
- The Embassy is open from 09:30 a. m. to 01:30 p. m. for the submission and from 02:30 to 04:00 p. m. to collect the documents.
