Please be advised that only father, mother, son, daughter, brother, sister, husband and wife currently working in the UAE can apply for the attestation of the individual visas/employment contract on behalf of their relatives. This also applies to hiring male domestic employees.
However, in absence of the above mentioned relatives in the UAE, the Embassy may attest such documents if any one of the following conditions is fulfilled:
(i) The job seeker had already worked in the UAE and the application for a new job is submitted within nine months from the date of exit from the UAE. Documentary evidence such as copy of the relevant pages of Passport showing the entry/exit stamps and the previous visa etc. required.
(ii) A professional who found job for himself/herself in the UAE through online application/interview (proof required); and
(iii) If the employment is being provided by the UAE Government entity, diplomatic or UN missions based in the UAE.
Application for attestation can be submitted by the relatives themselves, through an authorized representative or employer. Companies hiring individual Nepalese who don't meet the above requirement/s may contact any registered manpower agency in Nepal before they obtain visa, and follow the procedures the same way as they would do for the group recruitments (click on Individual Recruitments: Form and Samples to learn more about the Group Recruitment).
The following are the requirement for attestation of documents for individual recruitment:
1. Employment Contract with full information on, basic salary, working hours and days, food, accommodation, transportation, medical insurance, workmen's compensation insurance (compensation for injury and death), joining and return ticket, cost of visa and other benefits and other terms and conditions of the contract of the company concerned- 2 copies (one original and one photocopy);
2. Guarantee Letter – 2 copies (one original and one photocopy);
3. A copy of valid Trade License of the company in the UAE – 1 copy;
4. Employment Visa – 1 original and 2 photocopy. The original visa will be returned after verification;
5. Copy of the bio-page of the Employee's passport- 1 copy;
6. Proof of relationship (relationship certificate, marriage certificate, copies of citizenship certificates or any other documentary proof that confirms the relation);
7. Copies of previous UAE visa and exit stamp of the prospective employee (if worked in the UAE before);
8. Copies of Passport and UAE visa of the applicant (if family member as mentioned above).
9. Copy of UAE visa (for non-Emirati only) and Passport (for all) if sponsoring domestic male employee- 1 copy each

Drivers
The minimum salary for light vehicle driver and heavy vehicle drivers have been set at Dh. 1,500.00 and Dh. 2,200.00 respectively in addition to food and accommodation.
The above salary and allowances are in addition to the allowance for transportation and other benefits as per the UAE Labour Law. Employers are required to provide food and accommodation or pay the minimum amount as stated above.
However, if the minimum basic salary includes the allowance for food or accommodation or both the employers are not obliged to pay additional allowance for these entitlements.
Domestic Employee
The minimum salary for domestic workers has been fixed at Dh. 900.00
Note:
- Please note that the Employment Contract and Guarantee Letter should be typed or printed in the company's letterhead with the full name and designation of the signing official and stamp of the Company.
- The Embassy attests the Employment Contract and copy of Employment Visa on payment of AED 150.00 for each document (total AED 300.00).
- The Embassy is open from 09:30 a. m. to 01:30 p. m. for the submission and from 02:30 to 04:00 p. m. to collect the documents.
- It is strictly prohibited by the laws of both Nepal and the UAE to compel anyone to work as domestic employee under company's visa. The Embassy may decline to certify the documents if it is not satisfied after examining the documents submitted.
- Security Guards should be recruited as per Article 34 of the "Directive to all Security Companies in the UAE to implement Ministerial Decision No. 557 of 2008 or the Executive Order of the Federal Law Number 37 of 2006" issued by the Government of the UAE.
